Hi, Lovelies.
Today, we’re doing another mystery. It’s called The Twelve Days of Murder by Andreina Cordani.

Now, I haven’t read this one yet, but it sounds really interesting and is on my to-read list. I’m not huge on mysteries, but the book almost gives me Truly Devious vibes. It’s a young adult mystery series by Maureen Johnson. She did an amazing job with the first couple of books and I loved the mystery in it.
The Twelve Days of Murder give similar vibes because it is about a group of friends, who come together with their own secrets and try to solve a mystery before they all end up dead.
Summary
The book starts with eight friends part of the Masquerade Murder Society who solve staged mysteries in college. However, when one of them disappears, the society dissolves and goes their own way. Years later, they reunite for their final Christmas Masquerade. They are given identities based off the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas” like Mr. Gold or Doctor Swan. They think it’s a game until Lady Partridge is found dead hanging from a pear tree. It’s up to Charley, the outsider, to shift through secrets of the past, so that they all don’t end up dead by the end of the trip.
The book sounds like an intriguing mystery to read, perfect for curling up in front of a fire and reading. While some people don’t seem to like the characters, finding them snobby, they do agree that the author does a great job of making them understandable.
Thanks for Reading
Hope you guys have been enjoying this series. Tomorrow will mark the second to last day of recommendations. Have a great day, Lovelies!
