Hi, Lovelies.
Today, we’re doing The Book Club Hotel by Sarah Morgan. I read it in a day. It was just so sweet and heart-warming and I haven’t read a good book in a while. College is mostly classics. Which isn’t bad, but I could use some more fun books in my life.

A Short Summary
The story follows four women in different places in their lives. Hattie is a young single mother, running a holiday inn and struggling after the death of her husband. Erica is a confident businesswoman, who feels like something is missing from her life. Claudia is dealing with many changes, having lost her significant other and job. And Anna’s life may seem like the perfect motherhood lifestyle, but she is scared of her children going off to college.
All of these women are dealing with their own struggles and their lives connect when Erica, Claudia, and Anna go to Hattie’s inn for their yearly book club get together. Through this experience, they learn that everyone fights their own battles. That change can be good. And that having strong women to support you can get you through life’s challenges.
My Take
I loved it. It was sweet. It was heart-warming. It was perfect. I love reading books about women coming together to support each other when they’re struggling.
I know that’s definitely happened for me. It was a collection of middle-aged women who taught me how to drive and helped me figure out what being an adult is. And while I’m still figuring that out, I know that they’ll be there to support me.

Thanks for Reading
Have a great day, Lovelies. I hope these suggestions have helped you find some holiday reads. Check back in tomorrow.
“In fact, it’s hardly a gift at all. It’s a book, and my sister and I think of a book as a necessity rather than a luxury.”
