This is the second to last day of my 12 Books Until Christmas series and I’m excited to do another murder mystery. This one is about spending the holidays with family and the feeling that sometimes you just want to strangle them. The book is called 12 Ways to Kill Your Family at Christmas by Natasha Bache.
A Little Summary
I haven’t read the book yet, but I totally want to. It follows Olivia and her family as they attend a family holiday gathering with her husband’s rich and snobby family. While she wasn’t looking forward to the degrading comments and tense relations, what she didn’t expect was the murder. When the family gets snowed in, one by one family members start getting picked off and dying.
The characters are hateful and you may end up rooting for the killer. But it’s an engaging read that is crazy, dark, and clever. With a plot twist that you didn’t see coming, this book will leave you on the edge of your seat.
